I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help.
No, you've been very helpful - thanks for the information!

Default Wynstone originally

I am sorry to hear about those of you that held on. We began worrying when the site work was never started and we get the runaround from THP. We had heard that there were financial issues with THP and that they were unable to pay their contractors. We were lucky to know people with truthful information. THP lied to their buyers. They continued to tell us that their company was stable and denied financial troubles--we have all of the emails. In November I went to the corporate office and they reported that they were giving Wynstone buyers the option to locate to a new community. They told us they would not likely refund us bc the project was expected to begin. Whatever. I met with the manager and we were given the option to look at homes in Coddington. We had our heart set on the Brandon model, however we knew THP was not going to last and they had our savings basically. We looked at three homes and chose one within a day. We settled six weeks ago which we are thankful for, however now we were about the mechanics liens. I am sorry to those of you--we saved all of our correspondence including the BS they fed to us. They knew back in the fall that they were in severe financial trouble yet they continued to take deposits, sell homes, etc. How much will legal expenses cost everyone now? Wynstone was not going to happen--they needed four banks to sign on and fund it. THP knew this yet they misled people with deposits down. They did not seek out the Wynstone buyers--if you were persistent and demanding then you were offered to go to Northgate or Coddington. Those of you who were not basically stalking them, they acted like you did not exist. The owners are crooks and I hope they will get jail time over this.

My Fiance spoke to the township manager today, and THP never even had the permits for Wynstone. Plus..Wynstone wasn't going to be built until June or July of 2011.

To the person who said "a Refund wasn't an option", it should of said otherwise in your agreement.

THP had no business taking deposits for Wynstone in the first place.

If they were not going to start until 2011, how were they allowed to sell lots in 2007? When I signed the contract in 2008, I was told that they would be starting at anytime - what a mess!

LMF..I don't know how they got away with it.

Every single one of those sales people in that office LIED to me and everyone else that came through those doors. Boy..how I would give anything to see if those people could look me in the eyes right now.

I was going to go to the township manager in New Hanover back then, but got side tracked and "tunnel vision" with other things.

Personally..I hope and pray the Hendricks, and everyone else associated with them are put in jail over this! Hopefully an example is made out of them, and they are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and JAILED for their crimes!
