Angry Disgraceful Marketing Letter from The Davidson Group - More THP Marketing Homeowners

I came home after work yesterday to find a piece of mail from the Davidson Group announcing their joy of being selected by THP to handle the Sales/Marketing for KH Community. Seriously?? This letter, with attached document outlining the protection that future buyers will obtain with THP, is extremely offensive to me. Why in the world should I receive this garbage in my mailbox? As if it's not enough to navigate the legal paperwork I need to fill out in order to potentially reclaim my money that I've put out to finish our yard and other things THP has stiffed us on...now I am receiving letters praising their future efforts? It's just plain awful! I've tried to keep my cool, but this has been my tipping point. And, if you are reading this, Gay Davidson or Fran Phelps from The Davidson Group, please remove me from your mailing list. I'm not a client of THP's as they neglected to take care of us. The nerve! I wouldn't dream of doing business in this manner...

Does anyone know how long have they been sending these Sales letters out? How they been doing this for a while? Thanks for listening....

Default It's been going on for a bit now.

It started with Realtors and then moved to the neighborhoods in which TH(P) finishes out a few home and builds new ones with no buyers ...

You can see the Realtor one here :

New TH Properties Information - Flyer being distributed to Realtors - "TH" Marketing

If you have an opportunity, please, scan the one that you recieved. Another member may be doing this as well, but, I would be interesting in seeing it if you have a chance.

You can post it yourself or send it to me directly at webmaster@wheresbuilder.com.

And when you read that other thread, you can understand why people sometimes use the term TH(P).

I am "Unfairly Burdened" with liens due to THP's inabilities to pay their bills :

~2k - B&F Insulation - A Masco Company
~11k - ServiceMark - A UGI HVAC D/B/A

I'm still waiting, THP :

"We are working diligently with vendors and lenders to develop a restructuring plan that includes an agreement by the mechanics lien holders to release liens against completed homes. Our discussions have been encouraging, and we intend to see that all legal action is taken to ensure that no homeowner is unfairly burdened by these liens. We continue to specifically address this issue in our discussions. Our goal is to reach the best possible outcome for all parties as soon as possible."

Thanks very much.

I have to take a look at this...

"A better and safer position for NEW home purchasers".

Who is signing off on this!?!?!?!?!

HOW IN THE WORLD ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO BE HAPPY ABOUT THIS GARBAGE when your development is unfinished.

Promises undelivered.

Liens on your homes.

No warranty.

No service.

Wow.

TH(P), you read this website all day long ... You have even gone so far as to register a user with my name pretending to be me using a picture myself and my wife.

Can someone PLEASE sign in from THP and say who signed off on this?

Default This is available as a public download on the homepage.

This is unbelievable.

WHO IS SIGNING OFF ON THIS?

How does anyone think it is a good idea to win over customers, with incomplete homes, liens, and incomplete neighborhoods...

By letting them know all the wonders the new people get?!?!

Here's an idea :

PAY OFF THE LIENS ON THE HOMEOWNERS
COMPLETE WHAT YOU STARTED
FURNISH YOUR END OF THE BARGAIN FOR HOMES PAID FOR IN FULL, IN GOOD FAITH

We have been hired by THP because we are recognized as an honest, reputable company with an unbeatable track record.

In my book you are no longer recognized as such since aligning yourselves with THP.

ETA: And if anybody from Davidson does happen to drop by, please know that I will never use your services, nor will I recommend you to anyone else.

I gotta tell ya.....I understand the need for marketing, but this not only crosses the line of decency, it doesn't even give it a second glance in the rear view mirror.

What bothers me the most is the "fact" sheet. Really? THP is committed to the customer? Well, if past performance is a good indicator of future action, then we all can pretty much figure out the conclusion to this story.

This ad can be compared to buying a red ford econoline van, painting free candy on the side and running it through a playground. Sure it looks inviting, even intriguing, but it's just as reprhensible.

It provides Emphasis and Excitement about All the Things That TH Properties provides the New Homeowners, not the ones They Leave Out in the Cold with Liens and Incomplete Homes.
