Default I bet it was one of the masco outfits - synergy or b&f

What company completed your fireplace? Thanks
It was probably a masco offshoot.

And, if you're not fired up enough, let me say this.

This SAME company that is DOING WORK FOR TH(P), TODAY, is STILL holding liens against homeowners.

It's time for a change.

This crap has to end.

And, if you had the fireplace, you would have a lien.

I know - the lien sounds much better... I understand. It's ridiculous to even say that.

TH(P).

Get your act together.

Stop reading these forums ALL DAY LONG.

GET TO WORK.

Stop skirting your old customers.

I am "Unfairly Burdened" with liens due to THP's inabilities to pay their bills :

~2k - B&F Insulation - A Masco Company
~11k - ServiceMark - A UGI HVAC D/B/A

I'm still waiting, THP :

"We are working diligently with vendors and lenders to develop a restructuring plan that includes an agreement by the mechanics lien holders to release liens against completed homes. Our discussions have been encouraging, and we intend to see that all legal action is taken to ensure that no homeowner is unfairly burdened by these liens. We continue to specifically address this issue in our discussions. Our goal is to reach the best possible outcome for all parties as soon as possible."

tmitch- We did get our fireplace finished last Thurs. When we moved in we wanted in writing that it would get finished before we saw settlement. So as soon as the bank approvals were done, we got the call that they would be coming out. The company was Firestone or whatever their called. I actually wasn't here that morning because I had prenatal testing that morning and my inlaws were here. And Jason is supposed to be out this morning to get other fixes done. Settlement is set for Tues.

Interesting....so Hobsons, you're "new money" and tmitch is "old debt being left behind?"

Yes, I am old debt left behind. lol. Interesting that Fireside never returned my calls after my last contacts. So I was told by Fireside that the money was not put aside by THP yet we paid for the upgrades, blah blah. Called for the pricing to have it completed, no calls returned. Seems like they are back to completing--they missed our house. Hey, send Jason over here for me, okay? Thanks

Good luck with the baby and hope to see you soon--your neighbor with the white unpainted door. lol

PS Can we all join you at settlement
