Default THP Status Report - TH Properties - THP Bankruptcy Status Report Chapter 11

Here's a slightly new take on the new boiler plate text in all the filings.

Basically, if you can make it through, you want to eyeball number 13.

I'd like a big expansion on #13.

I want to know how and when it's going to happen.

We have all had to endure this mess for four months.

I am "Unfairly Burdened" with liens due to THP's inabilities to pay their bills :

~2k - B&F Insulation - A Masco Company
~11k - ServiceMark - A UGI HVAC D/B/A

I'm still waiting, THP :

"We are working diligently with vendors and lenders to develop a restructuring plan that includes an agreement by the mechanics lien holders to release liens against completed homes. Our discussions have been encouraging, and we intend to see that all legal action is taken to ensure that no homeowner is unfairly burdened by these liens. We continue to specifically address this issue in our discussions. Our goal is to reach the best possible outcome for all parties as soon as possible."

The movie "Groundhoug Day" comes to mind.....everyday you wake up, it's merely a repeat of the previous day.....

Unfortunately for those of you already in homes, I don't think it is a mistake that you are mentioned in the very last line of #13.

It sounds like the order is: post-petition financing for incomplete homes, then large-scale financing to build remaining houses within the communities, and THEN, if there is enough left over, make good on "finishing" previously sold homes, roads, and other community extras.

Honestly, since it seems to take about 1 month to get the post-petition financing for the incomplete homes, it could be another year or more before they make it to the end of #13.

But, what do I know, I'm just a spectator in all of this, trying to make sense of it the same as all of you.

Default Funny, isn't it...

How ironic that Wynstone is mentioned in that - I don't mean to keep repeating myself, but....it was never even started, the signs have been taken down. They never even put a shovel in the ground. I have started to move on - but, I want my money back and I told them this - multiple times, but was ignored.

I am wondering when THP is going to have the deceny to return my almost $8,000 so I can completely move on. I will not go away, and just let them have my money. We all work very hard for our money, and for THP to take it, ignore my request for its return, and just think that the "updates" listed on their website are making this OK - it's not.

I will not purchase a THP home - never, ever.

So I guess we are all supposed to wait, until THP gets their act together - that won't happen. People need to move on with their lives - and THP needs to start to understand this.

Default I think you are on to something

There are some new creatures finding homes in all of the untouched / unkept areas of Biltmore.

Perhaps there is a groundhog with a good sense of humor making an appearance?

People continuing to lift materials and dump on the site might be in for a big surprise when they unexpectedly get attacked by the new inhabitants.
