THP - You want help.... (as per your press conference)

I don't think the Hendrick's brothers have the "nerve" to sign up on this forum, and take questions from us. The way I feel right now, I wouldn't have anything positive to say, and I would have to push myself away from the keyboard, to refrain from getting out of line.

I used to do "New construction" back in the late 80's and 90's, and I've seen first hand what these builders do to people. Until the laws change in the state, it will still be "business as usual" with these crooked builders.

I'm only out $10,000 right now..My heart goes out to the people who lost so much more.

The end result I would like to see is..everyone get their money back or home finished.

Subcontractors of THP and Home owners need to contact their congressmen/woman to get legislation in this state to make it impossible for Builders to do this to people.
For starters, I would like to see a Law in this state that says.."No U & O's will be issued until subcontractors are paid, and home is completed".

You won't find a builder in this state who would support that, so what does that tell everyone?

After that sham of a "press conference" I have moved beyond feeling sorry for myself and am now angry as hell. These charlatans knew a long time ago that the end was in sight, yet they greedily took our deposits knowing full well that they could never deliver the product. I personally hope they rot. I'll never see my $23,000 ever again....money I worked hard to save....the sacrifices me and my family went through all for naught.

I taped it but it was real windy and Todd didn't speak real loud. I was the one holding the sign. I was there representing everyone involved all communities. I was also interviewed by many reporters. Thank you to all who liked the sign. It's amazing what coroplastic and white paint can do.

At least my deposit last month helped to fuel their Hummers and Ferraris up until now. The writing is on the wall here. Despite the rhetoric, this company is going down and dragging everything we've put into it, the communities and the homes with it. There is no way that this company can continue....they talked about options during the press conference.....as I see it, there are only three: Chapter 11, dissolution of the company as a whole, or getting a financial backer. No financial backer in their right mind will put money in for this company, especially not now with lawsuits piling up quicker every hour, there's nothing left for a chapter 11 reorg.....

No, I hate to say it, but I see a complete dissolution of this company in the very near future.
