A masco rep contacted me this past wednesday to talk about their wishes. Apparently, news pieces such as the lien story on the news a few weeks back from nydia is not good for business.

As such, they told me they are considering pulling back liens on the homeowners.

I was very excited to hear this.... But, as so many know here.... Show me in writing.

So, while I await that .... Perhaps those of you out there either disturbed by mascos actions and the sister companies synergy insulation and b&f insulation can encourage them to do this.

I suspect that the first company to do such a positive move would stand to get a lot of good press and could be a company to look up to for emulation during this mess.

This is the story in the event you missed it regarding Masco and it's sister companies - B&F Insulation and Synergy Insulation placing liens on homeowners that had paid their bills to THP.

As evident in other manners, THP has been unable to perform its requirements to its customer base which left these companies, in their eyes, little other choice.

However, as plainly seen, these attempts to become whole are misdirected - they need to be sought from THP - not yet another victim.

I am extremely hopeful that Nydia will be interested in doing a followup story that Masco and its sister companies have perfected the liens.

I find it even more exciting that they potentially would like to set the example for other companies placing liens by retracting them.
