Default How to "search the docket" - TH Properties Bankruptcy News and Court Filings - THP

I have no issues passing the torch on this one (or other issues) so here's a detailed explanation since its come up a few times :

- Get an account on PACER (use a credit card to get quicker access)
PACER Service Center Home Page

- Once verified, login
https://pacer.login.uscourts.gov/cgi...court_id=00idx

- Once logged in, on the left side go to Search -> Bankruptcy on the left side

- From there choose the following
Region PA Eastern
Case number 09-13201

- Click search

- Click case number 09-13201 on the next page

- Click Docket Report on the left side

- Ensure case number is 2:09-bk-13201

- Enter a search range

- Run report

Now you should see the filings.

From there, you can click the filing number to see the actual filing...

Remember - this can add up QUICK. 8 cents doesn't sound like a lot per page but when you play the 8 cent slot machine it gets very very expensive.

Indeed. Just in case admins warning isn't enough, let me tell you, it doesn't take very long at all to run up a nice little tab....and considering they only bill quarterly, you can find yourself in a hole pretty quickly with it.

I assume you are referring to your claim as I recently linked to this thread.

It is very, very expensive.

It is all part of the same thing I pay 8 cents a page for, yes.

You could alternatively had sent a self addressed and stamped envelope but, yes, that is the other method.

It should cost less than a buck to get to that search page and find your name.

You don't have to pull down the entire document again (your claim) unless you want to. There is a screen before that.., That should only cost about 32 cents give or take.

The document, however, even if it is 25 pages, you will only be charged for the first 20. So, max is 2.40 I believe.

"We are working diligently with vendors and lenders to develop a restructuring plan that includes an agreement by the mechanics lien holders to release liens against completed homes. Our discussions have been encouraging, and we intend to see that all legal action is taken to ensure that no homeowner is unfairly burdened by these liens. We continue to specifically address this issue in our discussions. Our goal is to reach the best possible outcome for all parties as soon as possible."

Default RE : Thankless work

To those that have thanked me, and donated in the past or otherwise... Or just generally appreciated the site, thank you back. It's meant and means a lot.

But of course, I can't please everyone in this ... I learned that a VERYYYYYYY long time ago.

Nearly nine months after the fact, I find myself bearing the grunt of anyone that wants to run screaming "property values" or other such nonsense.

For instance, anyone that thinks this site is letting THP sell houses or not sell houses, let's see what THP themselves say :

What's next for TH Properties? - The ReporterBusiness: Serving North Penn, Indian Valley and neighboring communities

Quote:
...has sold 24 homes in its Belmont, Hawthorne, Westport Farms, Kingston Hill, Northgate, Coddington and Cliffside Manor developments
So, there ya go.

And how many of those 24 have gone through these forums... Quite a few. Certainly, a lot more than perhaps even themselves would be willing to admit. And, as many of you know that have been here for a while, many of them have been heavy users and posters on the site.

So, consider this thread my gift back to everyone.

I don't have an agenda other than to get my house and community completed as contracted. THP, or otherwise.

Here's a brief content of an email that was sent in May of 09 to the same HOA membership of Biltmore that made ridiculous accusations about my desires :

Quote:
...

And there is NOTHING that I personally would love to see than THP to
come back and finish the job that they started. I don't know how I
can be ANY more clear about that than I have been both in private and
public. I would welcome THP with OPEN ARMS to complete my house, the
surrounding areas and the community.
I refuse to be used as a scapegoat or to be stepped on by manipulative people in hopes to boost their own social status.

I just want it done right. THP, or otherwise.

Last, if you want the court docs, this thread details how you can get them.

Enjoy!
